Oxford’s LEGACY Program is about building community by creating a variety of individually tailored experiences and sharing them with residents to enrich their lives. This all-inclusive program is led by our life engagement team. Our team members support residents’ personal development and community building through this program, with support from certified caregivers at every level.

L - Learning
Oxford Senior Living creates new opportunities for residents to stay engaged in lifelong learning. We design our activities around seven different learning styles:

E - Expressive
We help residents use expressions to add meaning and purpose to their lives and the lives of those around them. Art, music, and writing can bring an important perspective on a person's life into focus and provide opportunities for self-expression, self-exploration, and self-interpretation.
G - Gathering
Aging can lead to isolation. We bring residents together in social spaces designed for movement and interaction, and use modern technology to connect with the community and families.
A - Active
We prioritize residents’ health as part of the LEGACY model, promoting physical and mental well-being through activity. Staying active is essential; every step brings better health, at any age.
C - Community
We aim to redefine community through interaction and growth within our building, our extended family, and our city. We are a community hub that gives back, working with day cares, high schools, nursing schools, and colleges.

Y - Youth
Building a bridge between our residents and young people is a goal of LEGACY. The wisdom, stories, and life experiences they have to share are vast and often very interesting.
