Dealing with dementia was very confusing for all of us, and it was so hard to have to place him in a memory care [community] due to the level of care he needed. We were so fortunate to have Oxford open its arms wide to welcome not only my dad, but our entire family. This place changed all of our lives. Somehow, the staff here brought out the best in him \u2014 they called him their star resident. That melted my heart! It made me so happy to see him thriving and being loved while we weren't there. After 44 years of marriage, it was hard for both of us to admit that my wife was following both of her parents into Alzheimer's. Upon entering, she started showing improvement. My wife is now happier than she has been in years, due to the overall environment. I get frequent updates from the staff, including the Executive Director and Sales Manager, both of whom enjoy spending time with my wife. Like I said, I don't do reviews.
